Slender West Lake
Formerly called Baozhang Lake, Slender West Lake (Shouxi Hu) was originally a natural river outside of the Yangzhou City. It gained its name ‘Slender West Lake’ from a poem written by a poet of the Qing Dynasty.
It is famous for its 24 scenic attractions including the White Pagoda, the Five Pavilion Bridge and Xiaojin Hill.

Dongguan Old Street
Dongguan Old Street is the quintessential old street in Yangzhou. It begins east of the Grand Canal and ends at Guoqing Road and has a length of 1122 meters (about 0.7 mile). This street was the center of business, the handicraft industry, religion and culture in ancient times.
Today, many time-honored shops and restaurants are still open on the street, such as the Simei Sauce and Pickle Shop, the Pang Guanghe Hardware Shop, the Xia Guangsheng Tofu Shop and the Chen Tongxing Shoe Shop.
At the entrance to the street is the Site of the East Gate dating back to the Tang and Song Dynasties.

Grand Canal Night Cruise in Yangzhou
