Formerly called Baozhang Lake, Slender West Lake (Shouxi Hu) was originally a natural river outside of the Yangzhou City. It gained its name ‘Slender West Lake’ from a poem written by a poet of the Qing Dynasty. It is famous for its 24 scenic attractions including the White Pagoda, the Five Pavilion Bridge and Xiaojin Hill.
