Drum Tower was the center to tell time in ancient Beijing together with the Bell Tower behind it. Drum Tower was firstly built in 1272 AD in Yuan Dynasty, and was repaired for a few times later. Located on the central axis of Beijing, the bright red Drum Tower is also a noted historical landmark with two floors. As you can see in the video, many travellers come there, convenient by bus, to take photos with the tower.
