Temple of Heaven was a place for the emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties to offer sacrifices to heaven, pray for good harvests, and pray for rains in drought times. It is the largest sacrificial building complex of ancient China. In particular, Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is the landmark there.
