The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are one of the greatest archeological findings of the 20th century. So far, three pits have been excavated. Over 7000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons have been unearthed from the three pits. In 1975, a museum was built on the site to protect these treasures. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are often considered the eighth wonder of the world.
