Seventeen-Arch Bridge is the longest bridge in all imperial gardens with a length of 150 meter which connects East Causeway and the Nanhu Island.

Also called "Gardens of Nurtured Harmony", the Summer Palace is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. Natural landscape and marvelous artificial pavilions, palaces, halls, temples and bridges are highlighted.. Consequently, it serves as a recreational park too.
