Also called "Gardens of Nurtured Harmony", the Summer Palace is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. Natural landscape and marvelous artificial pavilions, palaces, halls, temples and bridges are highlighted.. Consequently, it serves as a recreational park too. This popular attraction must not be missed if you come to Beijing for the first time.
