Lhasa Gonggar Airport is located in Gonggar County, Shannan Region of Tibet, about 62 kilometers (38.5 miles) south of Lhasa. Currently, it's the most important air transportation hub in Tibet, with flights to and from major domestic cities like Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Xian, and Hangzhou. Besides, it provides direct flights to/from Katmandu of Nepal.
