Lying on the boundary of Nagarze County and Jiangzi County in Tibet, the Karola Glacier is on the way between Lhasa and Shigatse, with only a distance of around 350 yards (320 meters) from the highway. With its advantageous location, many visitors make the Karola Glacier a stop on their journey and have a quick tour there to take photos of the magnificent snow mountains.
