Jiuzhaigou Scenic and Historic Interest Area
Located in the Jiuzhaigou county, Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area takes it name from the nine Tibetan villages scattered in the valley. It’s famed for its crystal and colorful lakes, multi-level waterfalls, verdant forests, snow-capped mountains and Tibetan folk customs.
Tip: You can visit the most wonderful scenery at this ‘Fairyland’ in autumn; to be exact, from mid October to mid November. Be prepared to meet thousands of tourists in the valley.

Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area
Located in Songpan County, northwest Sichuan, Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area is famed for its ‘Lake of Immortals on earth’ due to its extraordinary natural scenery of travertine formations, snow-covered peaks, glaciers, virgin forest, springs and waterfalls.
The scenic area includes Huanglong Valley and Muni Valley. In this video, you will enjoy the Multi-colored Pond located at the highest point of the Huanglong Valley and the beauty of the Golden Calcified Shoals. Under the sunlight, you will see a shimmering golden hue to water flowing over the shoals. The golden calcified shoals resemble a dragon’s golden scales. Hence, the valley was called Huanglong Valley (Yellow Dragon Valley).

Nuorilang Waterfall
Nuorilang refers to ‘male god’ in Tibetan, which symbolizes ‘majesty and sublimity’. Nuorilang Waterfall is about 270 meters (886 feet) wide and 2365 meters (7759 feet) above sea level. It is said to be the widest waterfall in China.
Having seen moving waterfalls many times, visitors can take an opportunity to enjoy the frozen waterfall in Jiuzhaigou valley. It’s fascinating.
