The Jiuzhai Paradise & Dream Journey is performed by the Jiuzhai Paradise Art Troupe. It has more than 150 performers; 65 percent are from the Qiang Minority while the remainder are professional performers.

This grand gala show made its first appearance in September, 2004. It is generally performed from late April to mid November every year.
