Located in the Jiuzhaigou county, Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area takes it name from the nine Tibetan villages scattered in the valley. It’s famed for its crystal and colorful lakes, multi-level waterfalls, verdant forests, snow-capped mountains and Tibetan folk customs. Tip: You can visit the most wonderful scenery at this ‘Fairyland’ in autumn; to be exact, from mid October to mid November. Be prepared to meet thousands of tourists in the valley.
