A Sightseeing Deck along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway

As the longest national highway of China, Shanghai-Tibet Highway, also known as the National Highway 318, has a length of 5,476 km (3,403 miles). It starts from the People’s Square in Shanghai, passing Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan, and ends at the Friendship Bridge in Zhangmu Town of Nyalam County in Tibet. The Sichuan-Tibet section on the highway enjoys the best scenery where travelers can view complex landforms. For sightseeing purposes, several sightseeing decks were built along the highway.
