Qinling Mountains have 72 famous ravines. Gaoguan Ravine, one of the 72 famous ravines, is located about 18.6 miles (30 kilometers) from Xian City. There is a peak that is located next to the ravine. It resembles a giant man who wears a tall hat (called Gaoguan in Chinese). Hence the name Gaoguan Ravine. Inside the ravine is a magnificent waterfall, which streams down from a 98 feet (30 meters) high cliff. Its name is Gaoguan Waterfall.
