The musical instrument performance in this part is entitled Huaqing Palace. According to historical records, it is usually performed at the royal banquets held in the palace.

Built in the early Tang Dynasty (618 – 907 AD), Huaqing Palace was a recreational resort for the Tang emperors. It says that Emperor Xuanzong (Li Longji) came there in October every year after he ascended to the throne. However, the palace declined after the rebellion of An and Shi (755 – 763 AD).
