A local deaf peasant is harvesting millet in the Taiping Valley. There are 72 famous valleys on the northern slope of Qinling Mountain. In the Sui Dynasty, Taiping Palace was constructed within one of the valleys, located in Hu County, Xian City. Hence, it got its name - Taiping Valley. In the valley is the Taiping National Forest Park, a famous summer resort in Qinling Mountain.
