The Yangtze River Cruise offers a variety of activities, such as folk dance shows, introduction of the Chinese culture, featured films, Tai Chi Chuan and Tea Ceremony. Ta Ge is a classical Chinese folk dance that depicts beautiful young girls on an outing in the blooming early spring during the Tang Dynasty.

The dance is accompanied with the ‘Song of Bamboo Twigs’ written by Liu Yuxi, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty. He depicts a young girl’s complicated feelings when she hears her beloved singing. She loves him but he hasn’t confessed his love. Can you understand her feelings?
