Shadow puppetry is an ancient art of storytelling and entertainment. Whilst operators move articulated figures against an illuminated backdrop, others play musical instruments and yet another sing a Chinese opera. With a history of more than 2000 years, shadow play is still favored by many fans. Puppets used in the show are even sold to tourists as souvenirs.
