Xintianyou

Also called Xiaoquzi or Shuntianyou, Xintianyou is a kind of folk song which is very popular in the Northern Shaanxi Province.

The basic characteristics of the xintianyou are its short and pithy style, headstrong tunes and fierce and deep emotions, which combine to provide it with rich modes of expression.
