Chili Pork, Yan Jian Rou in Chinese, is one of the most popular home-style dishes in Sichuan Cuisine. It is regarded as the sister dish of the Twice Cooked Pork. Its flavor is salty and fresh, with the broad bean paste and fermented soy beans added. Using the pork and garlic sprouts as the main ingredients, the dish is quite nutritious containing calcium, vitamin C, protein and carotene.
