West Street in Yangshuo has a nickname ‘Foreigner’s Street’ as a large number of foreigners have traveled to, or settled here. Along the street English has become the language for daily use. Many locals speak fluent English and nearly every store has bilingual signs. Hence, it is also called a ‘global village’.
