The Oriental Pearl Tower is located in Lujiazui area, Shanghai. At a height of 468 meters (1,536 feet), it is the third tallest TV Tower in Asia as well as the fifth one in the world. The construction started in 1991 and ended in 1994.
The Oriental Pearl Tower is not only just a TV and radio tower but also a popular tourist destination in Shanghai. It has shops, restaurants (including a rotating restaurant) and sightseeing floors. It is the best location for a bird’s view of the Shanghai City.
