The Bund is located on the west bank of the Huangpu River, extending about 1.5 kilometers (0.93 mile) from East Yanan Road to Waibaidu Bridge. It gained a new name called “Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu (East Zhongshan 1st Road)” in 1943. Tourists can see buildings of various designs, such as Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque and other architectural styles at the west side of the Bund. One can also have a panoramic view of Pudong Area and Huangpu River. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Tower and other landmarks buildings are just across the Huangpu River. It is really amazing!
