Dali Foreigners' Street

With a length of 185.6 meters (0.1 mile), this street is actually a part of the Huguo Road in Dali Ancient City. Dali became to known to foreign visitors in 1980s. At that time, foreigners came to stay at No.2 Hostel located on the Huguo Road. Today, it changes its name as Hongshancha Hotel. With the increasing number of foreign visitors, restaurants, bars, bicycle rental agencies, photo studios and other facilities came into being on this street.

Foreigners’ street was rebuilt in March of 1997. The side-pavements were added to each side of the street. Two fountains and four groups of lamps were added, which makes the street look much more beautiful.
