Located in Deqing County of Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, Xiazhu Lake National Wetland Park is a natural lake wetland with diverse landscapes. It covers an area of 36.5 square kilometers ( about 14 square miles). The water surface accounts for 3.4 square kilometers(about 1.3 square miles). There are more than 600 small islands scattered on the lake. Also it is home to 800 kinds of animals and plants including the Crested Ibis, egrets, and wild soybeans and ducks.
