Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is renowned for its unique peaks, valleys and forests. There are over 3,000 peaks of different shapes, mostly like giant columns, rising abruptly out of the ground. Mist and clouds partially hides the mountains and valleys which are decorated by streams and waterfalls. The major attractions inside include Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Golden Whip Stream, Yellow Stone Stronghold, and Tianzi Mountain. March to May and September to November are the best time to visit it.
