Yunnan is always a magnet to tourists. As its Chinese name suggests, it’s a colorful land in China’s south end. There is the spring city Kunming, the tender and romantic Lijiang Old Town, the Dali City well reputed for its flowers, wind, snow, and moon scene, the primitive rainforest in Xishuangbanna, and the mysterious holy land Shangri-La. Various colorful flowers in all seasons, the crystal blue Erhai Lake and Lugu Lake, the red land in Dongchuan, the white and gray stone forest in Lunan, the golden Yuanyang Rice Terraces, and the snow-capped mountains all contribute to the gorgeous scenery in Yunnan.
