Mutianyu Great Wall is stunning. Going from Beijing, you can enjoy a great day tour at Mutianyu, to get photos with the great wall. It would be a long way for hiking, but there is chair lift and cableway to send you to Mutianyu Great Wall on the mountain. When the forest is luxuriant, it would be much more beautiful.
