Kanas Nature Reserve is in Burqin County of Altay City in Xinjiang Autonomous Region. The principal attraction is Kanas Lake, an alpine lake which originates from the Kanas Glacier in Altay Mountain. It is rumoured that the lake is monsters infested. Some onlookers saw them but couldn’t figure out what they were. Apart from the Kanas Lake, Wolong (Crouching Dragon) Bay, Moon Bay and Immortal Bay also attract many visitors and photographers.
