The Old Town of Lijiang having a history of 800 years is the most well preserved city with Chinese ethnic flavors. When visiting the town, you will be impressed by the culture of Naxi ethnic minority, the ancient architecture on Square Street (Sifangjie) and natural scenery. Because of its great charm, the town was included in the World Cultural Heritage List in 1997.
