Gegentala Grassland is a vast land in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Every July 25-31 (Gregorian calendar) is the best time to visit the grassland as the grand tourism festival - Nadam Fair is held at that time. Local minority people engage in wrestling matches, horse and camel racing and archery contests.
